In Selvatici, Masoto explores, in a subjective and ironic way, the idea of foraging and vegetarianism as practices that are not entirely harmless. These themes are often associated with ideas of respect for nature, but as the author reveals in sequences superimposed on paper, we also find contrasting situations where our relationship with plants and the wild crystallizes into a combination of violence and impunity.
