Gaze from the Dreamland captures a quiet moment in nature, using experimental film techniques to evoke a sense of dreamlike space.
Yinghsin Angie Yu is a Taiwan-born, Dublin-based emerging artist whose practice centres on lens-based visual art. She studied photography and digital imaging at the National College of Art and Design and explores themes of feminism, multicultural identity, and women’s ownership of their bodies, drawing on her experiences of living in Taiwan, Japan, and Ireland.
Her interest in photography began in childhood and has grown through analogue experimentation, darkroom practice, and active participation in Ireland’s analogue photography communities. In addition to her visual art practice, Yinghsin is also a performing musician, an interdisciplinary path that adds depth and diversity to her work.
Her recent projects include Her in Motion, a portrait series of female artists, and the photo-collage series Where the Moon’s Myths Feel Like Home, both exhibited in Dublin.
