Connections III
2025
Photography
71 x 55 cm Framed
Edition of 10
€550 Framed (includes 13.5% VAT)
Connections III combines two photographs. The smaller image on the left was taken underground at an abandoned copper mine, showing 200-year-old beams from the original workings of the mines, coloured by copper and other minerals. The larger image is of the artist’s cast glass sculpture, which was cast from a mould taken of wood used in the mines during its operation. Colours used in the glass were inspired by the mine photograph.
The title ‘Connection III’ combines the reality of mining and the beauty in remembering.
