About the Artist

Taryn Barling is a visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland. She holds a 1st Class Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications from the National College of Art & Design and is currently studying at Griffith College Dublin for a BA in Photographic Media. She holds an Associateship from the Irish Photography Federation. 

Her focus now is on photography and she works commercially photographing cultural events around Dublin. She is passionate about portrait photography, especially environmental portraits, and has focused on the older members of her community, allowing them to tell their stories through her images.

She is also an avid Street Photographer and has had work published in a collection of New York images, “The Pictorial List”, published in the USA, and a feature in the UK-based “KLICK” Magazine.

Barling is actively involved in organising Speakers at a local photographic society. Her goal is to inspire and educate other photographers to be as passionate about photography as she is.

Barling has had work exhibited in group shows at the PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont, USA, in 2024 and 2025.

In Ireland, Barling’s work was in the Ranelagh Arts Summer Exhibition, a group show in Gallery X, and is currently showing in Reynolds Art Gallery.

Framed prints are no longer posted. We only deliver framed prints within Dublin. All postage costs for unframed works are processed separately following the order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each individual case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for the delivery costs.
