This artwork is part of Talbot’s series Becoming, created during his MFA in Photography at Ulster University. The series explores queer identity, transformation, and the fluid nature of self-representation.
Through photography, Becoming examines how visibility and intimacy shape the ongoing process of becoming oneself.
Donal Talbot is an artist and photographer who explores themes of authentic perception and queer identity in his work, focusing on how we experience the world through our personal viewpoints and individual experiences. Talbot's work has been internationally exhibited and featured in i-D Magazine, The Face, and the Belfast Photo Festival. His work is published in the photobook New Queer Photography, alongside a selection of 40 other LGBTQ+ artists. Talbot recently completed his MFA in Photography at Ulster University in Belfast.
Framed prints are no longer posted. We only deliver framed prints within Dublin. All postage costs for unframed works are processed separately following the order of the print.
