Tarraingíonn Scéal Scéal Eile (One Story Leads to Another) is a photobook which aims to visually represent stories of Irish folklore and mythology.
It does so in a lyrical and engaging manner, focusing particularly on fables which are set in and attached to the Irish landscape. The ‘modern’ life of folklore is one often based merely on its aesthetical and commercial value, where much of the lyricality and constant change found within traditional Irish oral storytelling has been lost.
Tarraingíonn combats this by creating an interactive, engaging photobook that prompts the reader to take on a significant role in the storytelling process.
