Der Greif is a contemporary photography and literature magazine from Germany. Less a magazine and more an exhibition in printed form, each double-spread features images by different emerging and established photographers side by side, at times complementing and at others clashing with one another, along with poetry by writers from around the world.
Born from a high-intensity, seven-week performance exhibition at the Neue Galerie im Höhmannhaus, »A Process« is a curated dialogue between image and text. Following the signature editorial philosophy of Der Greif, this publication weaves together the work of eighty-four international photographers and authors into a seamless, evocative narrative. The book features texts by Jörg M. Colberg, Dirk von Gehlen, Annekathrin Kohout, Andreas Langen and Dr. Thomas Elsen.
