John is a self-taught artist from Birr, Co. Offaly, now living in Oranmore. He works mainly in Photography and oil paints.
John discovered an interest in image making in 2018 and, since retiring in 2022, has devoted much of his time to developing his craft. His artistic practice is constantly evolving and is currently exploring the complexity of the natural world through abstraction and the use of bold colours.
John is a dedicated full-time artist with a well-established studio practice and an active presence in the South Galway plein-air artist community. His commitment to developing his professional practice is evident in both the quality of his work and his engagement with fellow artists.
John is a member of 126 Artist Run Gallery, Galway, Kinvara Area Visual Artists (KAVA), and Gort Arts.
Framed prints are no longer posted. We only deliver framed prints within Dublin. All postage costs for unframed works are processed separately following the order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for the delivery costs.
