Profiles is an Irish journal dedicated to character-driven writing and portraiture. It aims to highlight the work of authors, translators and artists who have a talent for capturing human beings with curiosity, empathy and (sometimes brutal) honesty. They publish fiction and non-fiction (both original works and works in translation) and visual art in any medium that can appear in print, including paintings, drawings, photography and digital art.
