Forget about it is an experimental project made by mixing a range of different practices. This project mixes together illustration, pattern design, graphic design and creative coding.
It all starts with Nirvana’s album Nevermind. I wanted to, somehow visualise or graphically represent each track of this album, that I love so much. So, in order to do that, I did some illustrations based on the form of each track’s sound wave.
The resulting illustrated shapes gave me some interesting raw forms that I further refined and then, using a range of software, turned into an abstract shape.
The results achieved were a mix of, mostly, creative coding and manual deliberate choices. Each section of the project has a unique look to it as each part of it corresponds to one of the tracks of the album.
Besides the visible text, some hidden words can be found in between the patterns, and these words were also generated by creative coding.
Long story short, Forget about it.
