No Woman is an Island, Róisín Stack

Text of the play No Woman is an Island designed as an art book by Éilís Murphy / Folded Leaf. The play, a performance lecture inspired by woman’s tireless pursuit of alone time, premiered at Project Arts Centre as part of Dublin Theatre Festival 2023. The original script by Róisín Stack features quotes from great woman artists and thinkers.

Róisín Stack is a writer and theatre maker creating contemporary work that plays with form, text and humour. Her work straddles theatre, literature and live performance, drawing on influences such as zine culture, collage, text art and the lyric essay.
