The Current Thing, Issue One

THE CURRENT THING is an art journal that emerged in the darkest hours of the first lockdown.

It is a project by THE THING, and part of a series of resurrecting New York’s oldest online platform for art and criticism. A compilation of artists’ writings, drawings, sounds and films. Issue ONE contains thoughts and insights from the first eight weeks of the lockdown. The recently published new issue TWO, features post-pandemic thoughts on resistance towards exaggerated online culture by means of time-travel.
