Flirt with your Friends, Amelia Caulfield

Flirt with your Friends is part of an ongoing line of inquiry around the loneliness epidemic amongst millennials, and the importance of community in the form of platonic love and friendship. Contrasted with this are excerpts from the unpredictable rollercoaster of dating apps, modern romance, alternative styles of dating, and the search for romantic or sexual connections. The aim of the publication is to highlight our irreplaceable relationships and friendships and all they nourish us with, as well as giving intimate insight into the often private practice of dating.

Amelia Caulfield is an multidisciplinary artist, videographer, and arts educator based in Dublin, Ireland. Amelia has a BA in Film and Documentary from GMIT and an MA in Social Practice and the Creative Environment from LSAD. Amelia’s practice is socially engaged, and concerned with documenting the human condition, community, collectivity, activism, and values.
