Join us for this very special edition of PhotoIreland Festival, as we launch the three-month long celebration of our 10th anniversary!
Let’s celebrate together Irish photography and Irish talent, as well as international talent that has arrived on Irish shores, let’s celebrate all the institutions that have contributed to the development of contemporary photography in Ireland, and celebrate what is to come!
The party starts with an exhibition of new work by Luis Alberto Rodriguez’s The People of the Mud, produced during his Futures residency. You will also be the first to find out the announcement of this year’s Futures Irish talent!
The People of the Mud will be opened by Menno Liauw, Strategic Director of Vandejong, Amsterdam, and co-ordinator of Futures Photography Platform.
Futures Photography Platform is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
This September, The Library Project art bookshop transforms its space to accommodate an exhibition by Black Church Print Studio. Bookshop visitors can still browse and shop online at thelibraryproject.ie with free collections being facilitated and international postage available.
Join us on Saturday 22nd August at 4pm for a special event and book signing with Turkish artist Nazlı Yıldırım in celebration of their work Seninle Başım Dertte/I'm in Trouble with You
