Leitrim-born Maria attended Sligo ATU, receiving a BA in Fine Art painting. She worked as a designer, a newspaper photographer, a ceramicist, and in antiques.
In 2019, she decided to retrain in contemporary printmaking and now uses silkscreen, photography, etching, lithography, cyanotype, and woodblock
techniques.
Most notable developments so far were her participation in The Irish contemporaries exhibition {ii} at CiACLA, Los Angeles, The Medina Art Gallery, Rome, and Pressing Matters Magazine 2024 and 2025 issues. In 2022, Maria returned to film work, and her art is used on sets.
Framed prints are no longer posted. We only deliver framed prints within Dublin. All postage costs for unframed works are processed separately following the order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for the delivery costs.
