GEMS presenta la seria pittorica di Raniero Berardinelli composta dai 12 dipinti di grande e medio formato GEMS e dai 5 dipinti su base nera della serie BLACK GEMS. Attraverso un denso susseguirsi di dettagli l’edizione estremizza l’impatto emotivo e cromatico delle superfici, ampliando lo spazio immaginativo dello spazio pittorico, rimuovendo l’oggetto fisico della tela, dell’intelaiatura e del rettangolo, riconoscendo questo ruolo al bordo del libro.
GEMS presents Raniero Berardinelli's painting series, comprising twelve large- and medium-format paintings and five works on a black ground from the BLACK GEMS series. Through a dense succession of details, the edition intensifies the emotional and chromatic impact of the surfaces, expanding the imaginative scope of the pictorial space and eliminating the physical objects of canvas, stretcher, and rectangular frame—transferring that role instead to the edge of the book itself.
