The project The Very End of Everything examines the material qualities of photographic media and indeterminate peripheral landscapes through the use of multiple analogue formats. Drawing inspiration from the story of Antonin Artaud’s troubled 1937 visit to Inis Mór, the work positions both landscape and image as ambiguous sites that invite interpretation while simultaneously resisting it.
Billy Kenrick is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Dublin, Ireland. He specialises in analogue photographic techniques, print media, book-making, moving image and experimental sound.
His practice involves a process-led approach, focusing on the iterative, material aspects of images. The work explores the interplay between subjectivity and environment, perception and representation, as well as themes of absence and erasure.
Framed prints are no longer posted. We only deliver framed prints within Dublin. All postage costs for unframed works are processed separately following the order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each individual case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for the delivery costs.
Alternatively, free Click-and-Collect is available from The Library Project at 4 Temple Bar Street, D02YK53, during opening hours.
