DESCRIPTION
Afield is an open performance format with which to present field recordings/ spoken texts/ live instrumentation as an ongoing concern.
Attending an Afield performance by David Donohoe at MoLI, The Museum of Literature Ireland, in April 2026 I was struck by the clarity and beauty of the spoken texts, and I quickly transposed these into typographic form accompanied by photographs taken by David during various field recording trips.
