On 21st June 2019 in New York when Paul Martin lost out on winning one of the guitars from The David Gilmour Guitar Collection, he didn't know it then, but that chance encounter was the catalyst that opened the floodgates to an all consuming six year quest to build an alternative guitar collection with the tiniest of budgets. 

When he started this book, he thought it was just about photographing the guitars he had bought. But it wasn't, it's the story of his life
