Ghost Dog is an illustration to celebrate the arrival of Halloween. This artwork reimagines the classic ghost costume through the unmistakable personality of a dog, transforming a familiar Halloween image into a playful and slightly surreal character. Draped in a white, sheet-like silhouette, with curious eyes, an oversized snout and a little pink tongue sticking out, the ghost dog feels more endearing than frightening, creating a humorous contrast between its spooky appearance and its gentle expression. Rather than portraying a traditional ghost, the illustration explores the playful side of canine character, imagining a dog that might be trying to look scary but cannot quite hide its friendly nature. The textured, painterly finish, muted background and simplified shapes give the character a distinctive presence, balancing an eerie atmosphere with warmth and humour.
