ABOUT THE ARTIST
ryan casey bryce (they/them, b. 1996) is a poet, spoken word performer, and also whatever they decided to be when they woke up that morning. After their first self-published collection, death is not a celebration (2016), sold a grand total of seven copies, they decided to go to university to learn how to be a person. After a few years in the English capital (and some months in the French), a near-fatal car accident, and several existential, medical, romantic, and emotional crises, they might finally have settled down a little. They have been previously published in the Greenwich Anthology (2018-21), Feast (2022), and The Menteur (2022). They held a regular residence at Run Your Tongue between 2017-18, ran The Shanty at the University of Greenwich (2018-20), and have previously performed at The Rebel Arts Show (2024), The Commemoration Hall (2024), Arts in the Streets (2023), and Paris Lit Up (2022).
