Beim Bibliotheksprojekt
Mark von Jane Cummins ist eine Work-in-Progress-Ausstellung, die während eines sechswöchigen Aufenthalts bei Belfast Exposed entstanden ist. Diese Serie erkundet eine neue Phase in der persönlichen und kreativen Entwicklung des Künstlers.
Die robusten Büsche beanspruchen ihre Landschaft und zeigen ihre Vitalität und uneinnehmbaren Wurzeln. Das ist für mich sowohl als Künstlerin als auch als junge Frau auf der Suche nach ihrem Platz in der Welt etwas, das ich anstreben muss – Jane Cummins, 2017
Jane Cummins (geb. 1984) ist eine irische Fotografin mit Sitz in Dublin und hat kürzlich ihr MFA-Fotografieprogramm an der Belfast School of Art der Universität Ulster abgeschlossen. Ihre Praxis umfasst Selbstporträts und Landschaften, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Selbsterforschung und Identität liegt.
