Quaderno #3 – febbraio 2025 is the first book printed by Beauroma Prints using Risograph. It reproduces one of the artist’s notebooks and was published to coincide with the exhibition Quaderni 2017-2025 – A PRIVATE DRIFT, curated by STUDIO DRANG, which writes the following about the exhibition: “A drift composed of signs that unfolds page by page, taking the form of a visual odyssey, a potentially endless narrative that seems to follow no linear storyline or pre-established hierarchy. Through the development of an imagery composed of graphic fragments, Lupano constructs a complex framework with which to recount his daily life, his present and past emotional relationships, and offer a perspective on the context surrounding him. Behind the apparent randomness of these micro-stories and their sequence lies a rigorous creative process, in which every element included serves a specific symbolic function and is essential to capturing on paper the flow that courses through the artist’s inner world. “The notebooks’ striking uniformity in appearance—all bound with gray covers and black labels bearing no title—stands in contrast to the absolute uniqueness of their contents, which take the form of an emotional map and unfold on the page as an expression of an inner geography that is different each time.”
