Grow Wild is a children’s book, written and illustrated by Louth Artist and Illustrator Seán Cleary. It is a collaborative effort between Louth school children with an aim to promote a sense of optimistic stewardship of Irish Ecology among Irish youth. Placing children in the viewpoint of our native Irish fauna, Grow Wild asks children, “What if you lived in your own back garden or school?” From there, children are guided to assess their green spaces as suitable habitats for Irish wildlife. Could a hedgehog or robin make its home there? How could we help them?
