The Western Point, Laura Fitzgerald

This publication was printed on the occasion of Laura Fitzgerald’s visual art project, Community Spirits (2025), which took place in Inch, Co. Kerry, in Ireland, encompassing signage, a band, a film, paper-cut artworks, and collection and dissemination of local history and folklore. The project was curated and produced by Niamh Brown.

While this paper is not singularly about any particular person or indeed place, it is a collection of observations on contemporary rural life and the communities who live within them. If you identify with any of the stories, this is surely a coincidence.
