The International Centre for the Image is an innovative cultural venue situated in the Dublin Docklands, with a focus on photography and the visual arts. Operated by PhotoIreland, known for its impactful cultural projects both in Ireland and globally - Including The Library Project, PhotoIreland Festival and OVER Journal - the centre is set to open on Thursday, 17th July.
The centre will present a year-round schedule of exhibitions and cultural activities for both local communities and visitors, supported by the Arts Council of Ireland. The cultural offer includes an educational programme that connects audiences with the inspiring work of artists and curators. Visitors can look forward to a friendly and accessible venue that provides comfortable facilities, from the bookshop area, to the gallery space, as well as a quiet library area.
