TYPEONE is a biannual gloss magazine by the creators of Femme Type that fuses type mediums with mainstream topics such as culture, business, technology, innovation, global issues and more. All of these creative explorations headed by the TYPEONE team and network of freelancers discuss global-led initiatives, projects, campaigns and the people behind them – spotlighting the next generation and featuring an inclusive scope of creative humans from all over the world.
Issue 04 is all about Femme Type! For those of you who have followed TYPEONE from the very beginning, you’ll know that Femme Type was the humble beginnings of their brand. Born out of the lack of representation of women’s typographic contributions in the design space, Femme Type was set up as a platform and publication in 2019 to help tackle this important diversity issue. TYPEONE have been itching to publish another publication, and have used this special issue to continue to champion their community’s under-represented creatives through forward-thinking, educational editorial explorations.
