It consists of individual, used painter and decorators wallpaper pasting tables. These damaged tables are utilised to hold photographic material on their surface, the photographs, form my archive, span 30+ years. Choices as to what is brought forward, excluded, what does it all mean? And why these photographic works now. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eI question if this project is autobiographical, fact or fiction? Flitting from the personal to the political, to snarling, snarky piss-takes of an organisation (Catholic Church) I despise. Maybe it's an exercise in making sense of a life lived as a queer person. Witness to a time where the Catholic Church has lost some of its grip, kicking and screaming its way through the decriminalisation of homosexuality and two tumultuous referendums (same-sex marriage and abortion) that sought to govern lives, loves and bodies.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.bishopaustinhearne.com\"\u003ebishopaustinhearne.com\u003c\/a\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv title=\"Page 1\"\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eFor those that are not familiar with the project, \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/photoireland.org\/project\/tlp-editions\/\" title=\"TLP Editions\"\u003eTLP Editions\u003c\/a\u003e is an ongoing collection, produced and designed by \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/photoireland.org\/about-photoireland\/\" title=\"PhotoIreland\"\u003ePhotoIreland\u003c\/a\u003e, that presents work by contemporary artists in the form of uncomplicated publications. These are available through \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.thelibraryproject.ie\/\" title=\"The Library Project\"\u003eThe Library Project\u003c\/a\u003e in-store and online. All and any funds generated by the project go to producing more copies of the publications, ensuring we can keep promoting the artists and practices represented. These editions are regularly showcased and donated to international events and festivals, such as the Icelandic Photography Festival recently.
