Mark McCullough lives and works in Paris where he has recently completed an apprenticeship in cabinet making. His continued art practice looks to incorporate these new professional experiences and skills within it and vice versa.
Addressing sculpture as a possible point of intersection and inquiry between the limitations of photography and the aspirations of architecture, his work opens a dialogue between the two. New forms are created that allow a slower consumption of images while offering a playful experience of abstracted space.
The taking of photographs offers a way of collating sculptural instances, and it’s these retained forms that in turn provide the starting point for bigger projects. The manufacturing of frames for his latest work offers an exaggerated and very physical representation of this transitional phase.
All postage costs for framed and unframed works are processed separately following order of the print. This is to allow for specific protective packaging for each individual case. After purchase, we will contact you to organise delivery and payment for delivery costs.
