Jane Cummins (b.1984) is a Dublin-based photographer, using analog and alternative processes to create her images. She is a recent graduate from the MFA Photography programme at the Belfast School of Art, Ulster University. Cummins's photographs deal with the human figure and the landscape. Her work is autobiographical, using self-portraiture in her search of the self, and aiding her acceptance of that self. She creates a dialogue between the figure and it's surrounding landscape as she aims to find clarity and confront thoughts and experiences, which contribute to her identity.
