    DESCRIPTION

An independent magazine about Ireland's skateboarding culture. Goblin magazine attempts to give an insight into the lives of Ireland's hidden youth, our relationships with public space, tales from those who inhabit and utilise its streets, turning dormant objects to lively obstacles, usually against the will of local authorities.

Interviews with architects, skateboarders, activists, and photographers from all over Ireland and beyond give a broad insight into the unique characters skateboarding produces.

"Our return to print includes interviews with skateboarding legends Dion McGarrity & Jay Doherty on their experiences of Irish skateboarding over the years, what lessons they’ve learnt and how it’s changed over time. We take a look at the women changing the face of skateboarding and how communities have popped up all across the country through grassroots movements. We feature artist Sean O’rourke as he tells us about what its like as a full time artist in ireland, and his work that focuses on mental health, young people & housing. Niall Cullen brings us through the relationship between skateboarding & graffiti, whilst Matt Retalick talks about Michael Majerus and his connection of art & skate culture. Seamus O’flaherty gives us a loving insight to the galway skate scene, and Rohum Dilley talks about his new film focusing on the importance of skate shops. All this and more including DIY tales, poems, photos & artwork."
