Created as part of the artist's research for the “Walking as a Question” 2021 conference, At Cairns layers the Irish landscape that Berry was walking through with the Greek landscape that the conference was being held in.
Ellie Berry is a visual artist and writer living in Ireland. Her work focuses on outdoor experiences, often exploring the landscape and the connections found there. She primarily does this through walking - be it thousands of kilometres in the search of a sense of place, or small loops of her locality.
Berry has completed a Practice-led Masters by Research at IADT (2021), and graduated from her BA in Photography with a 1st class honours degree (2016).
