About the Artist

Elisabeth Neveux grew up avidly reading fairy tales illustrated through the medium of woodblock and Etching. Her intricate linocuts and pen & ink illustrations are inspired by mysterious myths, legends, empowered women, nature and the eerily beautiful. She can often be found weaving her own stories and at times exploring traditional folktales. She is currently working on a collection of original illustrated Ghost stories.

Elisabeth currently creates from her workshop in Kilkenny, Ireland. Having previously been awarded the U.K GMCA grant for the Covid-19 Archive of 2020. She has also been commissioned to create storyboard artwork for the Court Métrange festival (2013), prop artwork for award winning theatre company Box Tale Soup (2013) and has successfully exhibited her work at the Manchester print fair and Dublin Comic Arts Festival.

Her work is owned by numerous private collectors worldwide.

Elisabeth studied at Ecole Régionale des Beaux Arts de Beauvais. She created and donated art prints to fundraise for Emmeline’s Pantry, a food bank charity based in Manchester supporting women in need.
