About the Artist

Berta Martínez born in Barcelona 23 years ago. From a very young age she felt motivated by everything to do with image and photography and this passion and the wish of wanting to explore the world led her move to Dublin to start her studies on Photography.

Life is full of details that are missed. Being able to catch some of those details, like knowing the story of someone, a corner hiding in some place of the earth, and thousands of things that are missed by staying in one place, is the reason why photography is one of her biggest curiosities.

She enjoys capturing instants in so many ways, but moving from the countryside to the city, made her interests and photography change from nature landscapes to a commercial and more urban style involving people in her practice.
