Alongside Mathilde Vaveau’s photographs, Alice Lognonné’s short story is the erratic evocation of a trip in Ireland. Between Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland, and Coleman Island – a minuscule enclave belonging to the Republic of Ireland, the memories and thoughts of the narrator create a broken set of reflections about borders, fences and transitional spaces. This story is an intimate call for the experience of mobility.
