We don’t believe in the power of a stand-alone image as much as we believe what a group might stand for together. That’s why we make books.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eShy, silent, hesitant images start to open up. They start revealing sides of them which remained hidden so far. Small dialogues emerge. Then they get louder and louder. Individual notes become a whole orchestra. That’s why we prefer listening to the images and not starting with a specific idea in mind. We are interested in works that suggest instead of showing. Whisper instead of shouting. Something violent can become heavier when communicated in a soft manner.
