It formed over 200 years ago due to changes in currents in Dublin Bay following the construction of the North Bull Wall. The island is now one of our most important nature reserves and serves as a haven for wildlife and a recreational area for people in the city. A combination of natural and man- made processes continues to build and erode its features to this day. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWith this project, I want to convey a sense of what it is like to be immersed in this landscape. These are available through \u003ca title=\"The Library Project\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thelibraryproject.ie\/\"\u003eThe Library Project\u003c\/a\u003e in-store and online. All and any funds generated by the project go to producing more copies of the publications, ensuring we can keep promoting the artists and practices represented. These editions are regularly showcased and donated to international events and festivals, such as the Icelandic Photography Festival recently.
