A web of 15 mass paths was mapped out. Fragments of old tracks, stiles and footbridges were pieced together with the recollections of older parishioners. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDunnett photographed traces of these paths and used them as source images to create and tone cyanotypes with a leading brand of Irish tea, a favourite of many who walked the paths. Dunnett layers her work. She is drawn to this process and how it relates to the years of footfall across the fields and the many stories attached.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eA Well Trodden Path\u003c\/em\u003e is a partnership project with Dr Hilary Bishop, Liverpool John Moores University, funded by the British Academy and supported by NUI Galway. All and any funds generated by the project go to producing more copies of the publications, ensuring we can keep promoting the artists and practices represented. These editions are regularly showcased and donated to international events and festivals, such as the Icelandic Photography Festival recently.
