Using personal experience as a constant resource, the work comes from an honest place in the hope that the personal can be transmuted into the universal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe title of the work refers to the Doomsday Clock, a symbol that represents the likelihood of a man-made global catastrophe and currently stands at one hundred seconds to midnight with midnight symbolising the end of the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis feeling of doom that surrounds our current society runs parallel to the artist’s personal feelings surrounding his relationship with his father; he struggles to reconcile their past with their current state, and what feels like an inevitable uninhabitable future.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eFor those that are not familiar with the project, \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/photoireland.org\/project\/tlp-editions\/\" title=\"TLP Editions\"\u003eTLP Editions\u003c\/a\u003e is an ongoing collection, produced and designed by \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/photoireland.org\/about-photoireland\/\" title=\"PhotoIreland\"\u003ePhotoIreland\u003c\/a\u003e, that presents work by contemporary artists in the form of uncomplicated publications. All and any funds generated by the project go to producing more copies of the publications, ensuring we can keep promoting the artists and practices represented. These editions are regularly showcased and donated to international events and festivals, such as the Icelandic Photography Festival recently.
